Professional Poker Player and Coach

Andrew "amo4sho" Moreno

There are many different avenues you can explore while trying to elevate yourself as a poker player, and just as many pitfalls along the way. From incorrectly using complex, expensive tools to outdated ideas, bad information, and overpriced courses, the journey can be both time-consuming and frustrating. Hiring me as your personal coach allows you to bypass these costly and frustrating obstacles.

“Just because someone can play poker at a high level doesn’t mean they can teach. “

As your poker coach, I will examine your current framework, identify flaws in your logic, and break them down in a way you can understand. I will adjust your process and provide you with tools to improve on your own. This has been my approach over 7 years I have been doing poker coaching.

Take a moment to think about what you want poker to be for you. What does the biggest version of that look like? Consider this your compass, guiding you on your journey. Once your compass is pointing to your true north, your ship can sail. Without it, you might be fine on bright, sunny days, but when the waters get choppy and the storms roll in, you’ll be lost at sea. That compass is the only thing that can carry you through. If you've played poker for any amount of time, you know just how turbulent the water and fierce the storm can get.

I coach students in the areas where I specialize: low, mid, and mid-high stakes live no-limit hold 'em tournaments. I offer a free 15-30 minute consultation where we will discuss your poker history, goals, and skill level, and create a personalized game plan.
